I'm Piper

I’m all about honest, straightforward photography that actually looks like you. Not stiff, not overly styled, not curated within an inch of its life.

I studied at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography and graduated from their Professional Intensive program in 2018 .

My heart lives  with the horses and the western lifestyle—that’s home for me.

Most importantly, I have a real passion for preservation. For telling the truth. For capturing moments that aren’t wrapped in trends or bullshit, but grounded in real love, real emotion, and real life.

I've recently been transitioning to mostly only taking family photography bookings so I can have more time to focus on my own family. I'll be back to weddings one day, they have my heart, but so does my family.

My three favorite film photos I've ever taken.

Panoramic mountain landscape with snow-capped peaks and evergreen forests.
Black and white close-up sequence showing a baby in a graphic t-shirt.
Black and white series of relaxed poses on a couch.

Rinsing our daughter off in the Selway River.

People exploring a rocky mountain stream on a sunny summer day.

Me, a pack mule for my niece and daughter.

Friends wearing sun hats taking selfies together on a bright sunny day.

The best naps are on Junie B.
