Latest Developments

I have been packing around a couple of film rolls all winter with the intention of taking them downtown to the Darkroom of Missoula to be developed. I finally did it. And I was so giddy to get the shots back. I usually order scans with my negatives and then Mike at the Darkroom downloads the images to my usb when I pick up. Routinely after pick up, I hot trot back across the street, get into my car, and pull out my computer so I can see the scans immediately. The color has been far more satisfying for me over the black and white rolls. I have so much to learn with film. But when I want to photograph my own family it's what I reach for. Nostalgia I guess. Here are some shots from a camping trip into the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness, a place that has my heart. Along with many portraits of my girl, Murphy in the garden, with her Aunt Daisy, and planting trees, bare bummed as per usual.
